The CHI 2005 took place
in Portland, Oregon USA. The CHI is a conference on Human
Computer Interaction. Part of the conference was a student
design competition, for which Homie was submitted. The design
problem of the competition was to design for artificial companionship
for elderly people. Homie was presented in a poster session
during the conference.
